I'm setting up a test environment at home and need to multi-boot Windows 7 x64 with ESXi v4.0. I got ESXi 4.0 installed on it's own hard drive, and if I change the BIOS boot order I can boot into ESXi or Windows 7. But that's a major PITA, so I want a simple boot menu I can pick which OS I want to boot from.
I downloaded BCDEdit and added Linux entries for each partition on the ESXi drive, but none of the partitions will boot. Google didn't come up with much either. Is there a quick how-to on multi-booting a Windows 7 with ESXi?
I'd prefer to keep the standard Windows 7 boot loader and just add a menu item to the BCD screen, than switching to something like GRUB.
