Moving vCenter database (SQL 2005)

I'm trying to find if moving the vCenter database, sql 2005 here, is the same process as it was in 3.5. Detach/move/attach and update the system DSN. Of course the database looks the same to me after the upgrade, so I'm guessing it's the same process as before. Anyone done it yet? Safe to do?

You should be fine detaching and reattaching database. The update Manager database can cause issues. Take a look at
