I have an old Vmware ESXi 5.5 Freeware with 3 Virtual machines on it (~ 6TB of data). Now I need to move it to a new server (VMware vSphere 8 Essentials Kit for 3 hosts)
What is the best method to move the Vms? Recently I have had a similar case and then I have used scp to copy Vms over network. I have heard about vMotion but as far I know I'd need paid license on both servers in order to use it.
