Migration of Cluster Settings (pools, rules etc) from 2.5 to 4.0 without migration of the Database?

Hi all,

i would do a fresh install of a vCenter 4.0 in a vCenter 2.5 (ESX 3.5) enviroment. Is there a way to export/import or migration of the Cluster Settings (Ressource Pools, DRS Rules and so on)?

Thanks

Christian

I actually wrote a script that could do this using PowerCLI

Why you don't want just to upgrade existing installation?
