Migrate from ESX 4.0 to ESXi

Hi, I have an ESX 4.0 server that I wish to convert to ESXi (other hosts in the organization will be ESXi). I know that I will have to do a full re-install, but I am unsure if the ESX license will be valid for ESXi. Can anyone advise?

Thanks in advance,

Brian

Hi Brian,

Your "normal" license is valid for ESXi. Your ESXi will gain all features included in your vSphere license.
