Intel ET Quad Port not recognized after upgrade to 7.3

I have an intel ET Quad Port Ethernet PCI card that was working fine on ESXI6.7u3.

When I upgraded to 7.3 ESXI recognizes it in lspci, but the physical adapters don't show up.

I have tried many driver packages I found online but nothing seems to work.

Any suggestions how to load the ESXI 6.7 driver into 7.3?

ESXi 7 only supports HW which have driver in the NextGen format and not the old VMKlinux one.  IIRC there is somewhere a KB which HW isnt supportet anymore because of this change in the driver API.
