Installing vsphere 4.0 update 1 on three new servers

Hello,

I was wondering does anybody have a solution that can assist me deploying three new ESX servers.

I'm planning on installing three new servers with vsphere esx 4.0 update 1. I want to configure the first server with network and storage connectivity.

Is there a way that i can save the configuration from the first server and deploy to the other two servers?

I know in ESXi you can use vicfg-cfgbackup to backup and restore the configuration. Does ESX have something like this?

If you have the correct license (Enterprise Plus), you can use Host Profiles... Of course, having a vCenter Server in the mix also makes things many times easier/better... I couldn't imagine not having the combination of Enterprise Plus and vCenter Standard... Well worth the expense to get.. Well, if you have at least 3 servers you'll be deploying (and provisioning for more)...

yes, i bought the enterprise with vcenter....didnt get the plus version.

i was aware of the host profiles but didnt have the extra money do get that.
