Hi, I've to prepare a script based installation of ESX 4.0 as it's the only possible way of installing ESX on our system (no KVM) however the manufacture has provided us with a ESX 3.5U4 script and drivers. So I have the RPM's of the spcific H/W,
My question is; Can one take the ESX 3.5 installation script and slip stream the drivers of that into an ESX 4.0 install package? there must be similarities in both installation releases...
P.S I've already tired upgrade process using "Host update utility" however if fails somewhere in the process,
