Handling boot disk controller reset during ESXi 5.1 Install

Hi,

During installation of ESXi 5.1, at the time when the image is being copied from the source disk (assume CD) to the target OS Disk (at the OS install progress point of 27%), if the target OS's disk controller resets (which usually takes about 20 seconds to 30 seconds), the copy times out and we see the message "I/O Error 110: Connection timed out" (screenshot attached) and the installation stops.

At any other point in time during the OS install, if the boot disk controller resets, there is no issue, and the OS installation proceeds even after the reset.

The question is if there a way to increase the timeout and/or retry count of the copy operation performed from the source disk to the target OS disk, so as to handle the boot disk controller reset.
