Esxi update

I have just updated from ESXI 4.0 to ESXI 4.1 and was told the update was successful and I shoud reboot. So I reboot and notice that it is incredibly slow while booting up. The system appears to have hung after displaying the message, "vfat loaded successfully. There is no hard drive activity. If I reboot it,oddly enough ESXI 4.0 loads up and works fine, as if nothing hasoccured!

Any ideas,

Are you running ESXi on a supported hardware/with a supported disk controller?

Anyway, I would take a look at the log files (e.g. /var/log/vmkernel) to make sure there's no issue which could hit you in the future.
