Error trying to patch remote ESX host

I am receiving an error message when I try to patch a remote ESX host.  In the host task and event log, I see "fault.com.vmware.vcIntegrity.VcInt-
egrityFault.summary". In the hostd.log file, I see  the following lines:

[2011-03-07 11:50:02.579 F64B0B90 verbose 'Locale'] Default resource used for 'FirewallInfo.esxupdate.label' expected in module 'host'.
[2011-03-07 11:50:02.579 F64B0B90 verbose 'Locale'] Default resource used for 'FirewallInfo.faultTolerance.label' expected in module 'host'.
[2011-03-07 11:50:02.579 F64B0B90 verbose 'Locale'] Default resource used for 'FirewallInfo.httpClient.label' expected in module 'host'.

I ahve no issues patching local esx hosts via remediation from Update Manager. ESX host I am trying to stage/remediate is ESX 4.0.0, build 294855, vCenter version is 4.0.0, build 208111.

Any suggestions?

could you please telnet the host on port 80 from VUM server and telnet port 8084 from ESX host.

probably, outcome of these output will narrow down to the solution.

please let me know the output
