Hi,
I am trying to Update ESX 4.0.0 to ESX 4.0 Update1 or Update2 but it is giving Error.
My ESX Server: ESX 4.0.0, 171294
It is part of a Cluster. I am using V. Center Update Manager.
V. Center Server is Version 4.0.0
I downloaded the ESX 4. Update 1 and Update 2 from VMWare site (.iso image).
From Update Manager I clicked "Create a new base line"
It asked me about the location of the Update file. I pointed to downloaded ISO image.Then it start transferring data.
After transfer it tried to import data and then after long time is gave following error.
Error is: "Failed to import upgrade.
Error was: Upgrade release not supported by this version of VMware vCenter Update Manager."
How can I update ESX 4.0 to ESX 4.0 Update 1 or Update2.
I am also attaching the Screen shots for error as Word File.
I will be very much thankful for any prompt response.
