Error: Coredump to disk - ESXi 4.1

I have a HP Proliant Dl180. I installed VM ESXi 4.1 and got purple Coredump to disk. Slot 1 of 1. 9876543210 Disk Dump: Succeful Error. (See attached)

Any idea what the problem might be?

Server Specs:

2 x Intel(R) Xeon (R) CPU E5620 @ 2.40GHz

16 GB Memory

6 Hard drives (3 - 250Gb and 3 - 500Gb)

Tried with a Raid 1 (2 - 250Gb) and Raid 5 (3 - 500Gb) - Got the dump error

Tried with a Raid 50 (All 6 HD's) - Still got the same error

Welcome to the Community,

in most casese PSOD's are hardware related. I'd recommend you use the SmartStart CD/DVD and run a system test including the memory.

I ran a diag test on the two Processors, the six HDD's, 3 Memory chips and they all passed. Reinstalled ESXi4.1 and still keep getting the same error.

To rule out an installation media issue, please verify the checksum of the downloaded ESXi ISO image and/or burn another CD unless you have already done this.

Have you check the HCL and if the BIOS are up-to-date?
