ESXi deployment to multiple host

Hi,

We are taking delivery soon of 32 blades, previously the build process was purely booting from ISO.

As I am new to scripting. I'm looking at ways of deploying the OS simultaneously.

I'm looking for scripts, advice, any sort of best practices etc.

Thank you all.

Mark

Hello.
The auto deploy feature is great, if you already have it configured and working, but your VMware vSphere license must include this feature in order to use it.

If we talk about Blades, these are included in chassis that have an administration module, through which you can have a remote console that allows you to connect a virtual image (ISO) to the blade to install the operating system of your choice.

I would recommend going with auto-deploy.

How to install ESXi with vSphere auto-deploy you can refer to this document - https://docs.vmware.com/en/VMware-vSphere/6.5/com.vmware.vsphere.install.doc/GUID-CAB84194-3D8E-45F0...
