Herowp,

Thanks for the information. How many virtual machines can be run with 8Gb RAM. And can you tell me the installation procedure ?

Does it work witout "Dell Installtion DisK", (Installtion disk supports only for Microsoft Windows 2003 and Redhat enterprise Linux).

Thanks

You can check the link i added.

Usually i allocate 800 M for one 2003 machine.

It don't need that os, esxi will destory the whole disk file system.

Hello Sir:

How did you managed to install the esxi 4.0 in Dell 1420 Sc ? I have been trying and if fails. I get a booting error? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I have also been on community and not been able to figure out. There is post that say that Dell 1420Sc may not be 64 bit cpu, but the Bios says it is.

Let me know. Thanks.
