ESXI host need to upgraded from 5.5 U3 to 6.5 U3 version

I have Cisco CUCM running on ESXI host 5.5 version which need to be upgraded..

Kindly share the upgrade path..

Direct upgrade from ESXI 5.5 U3 to 6.5 U3 is possible?

also while doing so , could you pls share the mandatory patches for ESXI which need to be taken care..

And also.. after upgrade.. do i need to patch some thing on my application server actually it is CUCM 10.5 version..

CUCM 10.5 is compatible with ESXi 6.5, refer to follow matrix:

If you prefer you can do first you need to update Cisco CUCM from 10.5 to 12 since version 12 is supported on both ESXi versions. Then update ESXi 5.5u3 to version 6.5u3

install this version and do not install any additional patches. This is fine.
