I do have a test system I wanted to install esx4 on it, but the installation stops, when installing esx4i from the cd no error's everything runs fine.
Did download the esx4 again but still it hangs. Does esx4i has more drivers?
The two installs should have the same drivers available. Which install option did you choose?
Do a MD5 checksum test on the disk you created. The checksum value is on the download page.
You are installing classic ESX or ESXi? Have you confirmed all your hardware is on the HCL?
