ESX 4.0 Installation / Partition Question

Hi, in the past with ESX 3.5 I manually created partitions for my ESX 3.5 installation based on best practices.

These installations took place on a 15GB solid state drive.

My question is now with ESX 4.0 installing on VMFS should I be changing or creating any of the default partitions.

Does anyone have some best practices I should use for a fresh build of ESX 4.0 on the 15GB drive?

Regards

Nicholas

here's a good recommendation to follow, although with a 15GB drive you may have to adjust your partition sizes

Primary:
/ - 5120MB
Swap - 1600MB
Extended Partition:
/var - 4096MB
/home - 2048MB
/opt - 2048MB
/tmp - 2048MB
