Seems not officially listed:

http://www.vmware.com/resources/compatibility/search.php?action=search&deviceCategory=software&advan...

But this does not mean that it cannot work.

VMware Tools are in the virtual CD (when you choose to install VMware Tools) or you can use open-vm-tools

apt-get update
apt-get install open-vm-tools open-vm-source

I see the list, but i don't find Debian 6.0 Support.

My Question was when Vmware support Debian 6.0....

I cant find any hints.

VMware is constantly updating supported mainstream guest OSs.  You will probably see support for it in the next update for ESX(i)4.1 (Probably Update 2).  Call VMware support to see if they will support you.

You can also install VMwaretools directly from the source when you mount the CD in the VM.

untar the archive

navigate into the untared archive

and run the install perl script.

follow the prompts in the script.

FYI - make sure you have gcc installed as will as and kernel libraries as the script will built drivers for VMwaretools from your kernel libs.

hope this helps.

There isn't a public docs with release and planned data... So I've no idea.

4.x never got it. I wonder if 5.0 will get the official nod anytime soon.
