Datamigration folder not on the v 4.1 update 1 iso

Hi all,

I'm in the process of upgrading my vcenter 4 to 4.1 and I've downloaded the iso for VIM 4.1  update 1 build 354052.

Following the instructions in the upgrade manual (up to page 40) and watched the video but I'm now stuck because the iso does not contain the datamigration folder.

Is there another way of getting the required files and moving them to the new vcenter server?

BTW, build#345042 is the VC41 U1 build number which is available to download.

I did the download from the site and can see the datamigration folder.

VMware-VIMSetup-all-4.1.0-345042/datamigration:

                                     datamigration.zip

Thanks for the reply,

I'm downloading again in case the iso got corrupted somehow. I used the link from the enterprise section for ESX as that is what we are licenced for.

Did you download the iso or the zip?

iso re-downloaded and it doesnt have the datamigration folder so VMware needs to fix this. I'll get the zip instead.

In my case, after downloading ISO from the download page, i can see the datamigration folder and zip file inside that.

In your case, i suspect, corrupted ISO.

Make sure to do a md5sum validation post download.
