Have 11 hosts running 35 VM's. Currently running ESX3.5 and SC 2.5. The SQL is currently 2005 on a VM but it will shortly be migrated to a new physical box running SQL2008.
Our current Vcenter Server is on a physical box along with Vranger Pro Ver 3 & HP Dataprotector ver 6.x (we use HP eva's). Have had no issues so am thnking of putting the V4 System center on a VM along with VRanger & VReplicator & maybe Dataprotector. Just wondered if anyone else has got a similar config and had any issues. More concerened with the Vizioncore stuff really.
Also has any one any idea on timeframes as to when V4Center Server will be certified for Server 2008 R2 as I am in no particular rush to upgrade and would rather have it on the latest OS (even though I will have to jump through all the Microsoft hoops to get it working)
