Client and server

Hey guys,

It's me again.So this time , my question : is it possibl for a machine to be at the same time a server and a client ?

Because what I want to do is to create a virtual machine on the client part and to create a server of virtualisation then connect them .But since I only have one pc , so I want the machine to act as a server or a client depending on what I tell her to do ?

Please provide some more details about the goal you want to achieve.

Are you talking about a test/lab environment or production? What type of server and client (OS, ...) do you want to run?

With e.g. VMware Workstation (I mentioned this in your other discussion) you can create multiple virtual machines and run them at the same time, while you can still work on the host system (your client/PC).

Well I think you made it more clear now .My goal is to connect the server -client in order to move the virtual machine from the client to the server , and also to test connexion between two vm
