Hi Guys,
We currently run ESXi 5.1 U1 with Network & Security for VMWare Edges and vCenter. That's all.
I just want to confirm that I need to do the following, in the following order:
1) Install the new security manager
2) Upgrade security managed on my hosts without upgrading vedges
3) Install vCenter
4) Upgrade hosts to 5.5
5) Upgrade vedges
My question is, will I have any issue with the vedges not being upgraded? Can they be left in this non-upgraded state for awhile, as we might stage this upgrade over a few weeks. If so, can changes be made on them, since apparently they can not talk to the 5.5 security manager host since the REST api has changed?
