Cant see LUNS

Hey all,

New 5 node Vsphere rollout. New hitachi SAN. I can see the WWN's of the ESX hosts registering on the SAN. When I assign a LUN, same way I do in my 3.5 environment, then recan the esx hba's, no disks.

Is there anything I need to do on a new implentation I might be missing? I should just be able to scan the hbas correct?

The way to configure a FC SAN is quite the same between 3.5 and 4.0.

Check again your WWN address.

Be sure that switch zoning is fine.

And that storage masking is fine.

On your storare.

The name could be different, but you must be sure that new hosts can see the LUNs.
