Cancel / Remove VAMI reconcilation pending screen after restore

Hi all,

After running into some problems with our vsphere 7.0.1 we decided to restore  the vsphere from backup. We followed the procedure to install a new vsphere and in fase 2 to restore the configuration from backup. After that we completed the restore process by login with VAMI and followed the last steps. (see picture). Unfortunately this page is prompted, every time we login into VAMI. (even after restart).

We found an alternative issue with a solution, but unfortunately this is not our solution. Accessing the VAMI returns error "Update installation in progress" after recovering from a failed up...

Please advice where we can find the configuration file to cancel/ remove the setup screen.

thanks in advance.

M.

Thank you for your quick response. We managed to get the wizard complete by checking the database from vsphere and purge stale records. Apparently the wizard failed previous on time-outs to start the services.

It is not advisable to cancel reconcilation post restore. This will perform multiple tasks and sync with multiple services post restore.

There is a reason why reconcilation is triggered post restore and if you do not perform the reconcilation, the vami may not work forever. Other services may or may not work as expected and is not supported by GSS again.

thanks,

MS
