Boot from SAN Reinstall Error vSphere ESXi 5.1

Hi Guys,

I have attempted to reinstall ESXi in boot from SAN but it fails with error " Expecting 2 bootbanks, found 0 "

Boot from SAN has been configured on other blade servers in same chassis but this one crashed and I am reinstalling it and getting these error. Configuration is standard with 2 HBA cards on the blade & storage is detected on both the Cards

A few questions..

->Is this boot from iSCSI? 

->Is it an IBM?

Please provide more details on the SAN.

Hello Gortee,

I saw that article but we are using FC with standard configuration. Our blade is IBM and Storage is connected via FC Channel.

This has been working on several other blades but while reinstalling OS on this server the issue is encountered.
