6.7 u3 to 7.0U1c upgrade

Hi All

when upgrading from 6.7 u3 (vcenter+esxi)to latest vsphere version, can a vcenter 6.7 live with esxi7.0 without issues?

is it a must to upgrade vcenter appliance first?

any recommendation / pitfalls? or good walk through that you can recommend?

thanks

Try this --> https://interopmatrix.vmware.com/#/Interoperability

Select vCenter at first solution

Add ESXi in 2nd solution

Hi @aig ,

vCenter 7.0 can manager ESXi 7.0 and earlier versions up to 6.5.

Being the management server, it's a must to have it on an equal or higher version when compared to ESXi hosts.. vCenter 6.7 cannot manage ESXi 7.0.
