You're will not be able to upgrade your hosts to version 6 using the Update Manager version 5. Before upgrade your hosts to version 6, you need make sure that your vCenter Server (including the Update Manager) are running at version 6, then you will be able to upgrade your hosts to version 6.

i try to install update Manager 6, but it's incompatible with my vSphere 5

and then download version 5.1 Update2 and try again to install it, so

it's incompatible with 5 (this is not updated)

i'm searching for download compatible Update version and persist to upgrade

I am worried after upgrading to a higher version, connection lost with Manager

You must install vCenter 6, then install update manager and then you can use update manager to upgrade your hosts.

In all cases when moving from an older version to a newer version. The new version of VUM will require the same version of vCenter. But more to your question, yes, that is the order you will need to do it.
