Here's my environment:
NetApp - Test volume/lun created
Nexus switch
Synergy 12000 chassis and Sy-480 Gen10+ blade
vSphere 7.0.3 - Fresh install
Here's the problem:
Configured the NetApp with a test volume and lun. Added the WWPN of the Synergy blade to the SAN Initiator group that accesses this volume. Configured the Nexus switch with new port-channel group and vsan to the storage. Created the zone and the aliases. Bound the vlan to the vsan. Trunked the ports to include the storage vlan. Configured the Synergy profiles to make 2 connections. One connection is for the IP based traffic vlans such as vMotion and server management. The other connection is for the FCoE storage vlan. Stood up a new vSphere host and configured the networking on the host with a management IP.
This all seems to work. On the switch I can see the server in the flogi database, for example, and all of the ports that are supposed to be up are.
On the vSphere host I cannot see the storage. I've rescanned the adapter and refreshed, etc. but nothing comes across.
I've added the host to our production environment as an additional host in a production cluster and it still does not see the storage.
Any help would be appreciated.

Running the following command on the NetApp
"igroup show -instance" yields the following results:
Vserver Name: FAS8300_SAN_DEFAULT_SVM
Igroup Name: VDI_TEST
Protocol: mixed
OS Type: vmware
Portset Binding Igroup: -
Igroup UUID: 66066c33-43f8-11ed-986f-d039ea245ab1
ALUA: true
Initiators: 10:00:4a:74:de:90:00:8c (not logged in)
10:00:41:74:de:90:00:8a (not logged in)
10:00:4A:74:DE:90:00:9C (not logged in)
None of the fiber channel PWWN's from the Synergy are logged in to the fabric.
Exploring how to do that now.
Does anyone have any clues how I might get them logged in?
