there was an error connecting to vmware vCenter Update Manager

hi all,

when we start the vSphere Client the following err dialog box appears.

the "VMware Update Manager Service" is running fine.

any thoughts on potential causes is appreciated

looks like a syntax error in:

C:\Program Files\VMware\Infrastructure\Update Manager\vci-integrity.xml

<PatchDepotUrl>[http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:9084/vci/hostupdates/hostupdate]<PatchDepotUrl/>

instead of...

<PatchDepotUrl>[http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:9084/vci/hostupdates/hostupdate]</PatchDepotUrl>
