Had the same issue in my Testenviroment.

SVmotion began quickly run to 18% and then nothing.

So I cancelled it one time and tried again, same thing.

So I close vsphere client waited, and svmotion wnt over 18& and finished after a time.

Have you got a 1GB NIC for vmotion configured?

In my way I use a separate VLAN for Vmotion.

MCP, VCP

MCP, VCP3 , VCP4

Do you have some snapshot on the VM?

Do you have enough free space?

Does the ESX see both storage?

There are many things that can affect storage vMotion. It can take some time. I would start the process and let it run. A failure to Storage vMotion will leave the VM on the original Host.
