  • 1.  software iscsi initiator to multiple storage targets

    Can VMware software iSCSI initiator for multiple storage targets? In this case, four vmkernel adaptors will connect the multiple targets in a separate network(VLAN).
    Is there any limitaion\issue using multiple vmk adaptors for software iSCI initiator?

    IMO this shouldn't cause any issues, provided that you don't use the Software Adapter's Port Binding, which shouldn't be in use with multi subnet storage access anyway.

    It works also when using Port Binding... but both of your SANs have to be in the same subnet of course.
