queue depth confusion

with esxtop by selecting U (disk device) and then modifying and selecting DEVICE, ID, QSTATS and LATSTATS/cmd.... i am seeing various DQLEN values (32, 64, and 128) those set to 32 have high ACTV, QUED, %USD, LOAD, DAVG/cmd, KAVG/cmd, GAVG/cmd, QAVG/cmd.

I would like to modify the DQLEN to 64 on those currently set to 32. From researching i am finding that LUN Queue Depth is the same as DQLEN. How do I go about modifying the the LUN Queue Depth/DQLEN?

Hi,

you need to modify the driver parameters of the device to which your LUNs are connected

Thanks & Regards,
