iSCSI connection to multiple SAN

Our ESXi hosts connect to VNX SAN. The ports at switches are configured for access port type, and ESXI hosts use vmk1 and vmk2 to connect the SAN storage.
We will get a new SAN storage, which will be in different VLANs.
We do not have a spare nic port at ESXi hosts to connect the new san with a separate connection. In this case, we have to use the same NIC ports used for VNX for the new  storage.

What is the recommended practice to connect? Can we trunk the physical ports for both VNX and new SAN and use one nic for both storage?

Does your existing or the new iSCSI SAN require that all used Ports within the same and single IP Subnet?

No, the new SAN has to be in a separate subnet away from the old SAN, and the controllers have to be in a separate subnet.

As soon as one of your SANs require the Binding of the VMKs you cant configure another one that dont use that Binding or is in another Subnet.

I such a setup with the VMK Binding ESXi needed to reach every SAN Controller Port from every VMK. If none of your SAN require Binding...than you can setup your 2 SANs in the way you want.
