I setup some boot from SAN luns for the first time, and everything is working great. The one question I have is why dont I see the "local" VMFS volume like i'm traditionally used to see in a local disk install:
And also, why does the LUN appear when going to add storage:
And should i consider adding a filter to exlude the lun? I'm assuming it has something to do with a VMFS file system not getting laid down on the boot lun like i would see on a local install, just not sure I understand why?
