VMFS's and NFS

hi everyone

I have just implemented some netapp filers and am using NFS now instead of FC for the VM's.  Under FC we used to monitor disk read/writes in vcentre for an idea of how well the storage was performing and the disk utilisaiton for each vm.  As this is no longer availablewhen migrating the vm's to NFS datastore i was wondering what metrics i could use to assess how well the filer is performing as i migrate my vm's onto it.  obviously i can monitor filer cpu, but what should i be looking for in terms of latency ? is there a  maximum latency value i should be looking for as a trigger point to some form of storage issue - any pointers would be very useful

thanks in advance

Have you installed the NetApp plugin for VC yet?

See:

One day I will virtualise myself . . .
