Greetings fellow techies,
I have a XP VM (actually a template but converted to VM so I can modify properties) on which I cannot increase the virtual disk size. I've tried cloning a new VM from this one and even the new VM won't let me resize the disk. I do not have any snapshots on this bad boy and I am logged in to vCenter w/ full permissions so this isn't the case either. I know there has to be something very simple I'm clearly overlooking so I thought I'd turn to you pro's for help.
I've attached a screenie but please feel free to ask for additional info to better understand my scenario.
Thanks in advance for any help you can send my way.
IDE disk cannot be resized. the only way is to convert it to SCSI type or using vmware converter to do a V2V clone and have the option of changing the disk size ..
