Runnning VSphere 4.1
I have a VM (Ubuntu 10.4), and am running out space.
Here is what I did:
a) Increase the VM disk using (edit, chose disk and increased size)
b) Booted the VM into a Knoppix Live CD and was unable to extend the LVM2 partition, but was able to resize the Extended partition.
Can I use that space for LVM using lvextend? Or do I have to shrink newly resized partition and then use the lvextend on the free space.
Anyone run into this problem before?
