Strange issue with an NFS mount

Hi there hoping someone might be able to help with a stange issue i'm having mounting an NFS volume.

I'm mounting an ISO's volume on our DR esx cluster as read only as it's a mirrored copy.

We have 12x hosts running ESX4 (660575)

9 of them mount without any problems, but 3 of them mount the same volume but are attributed to another volume in the virtual centre.

I'm using the same command on all of them so it can't be attributed to a typo.

/usr/bin/vimsh -n -e "hostsvc/datastore/nas_create ISO_NFS_NetApp netappdr.fullyqualified.com /vol/MIRROR_NFS_ISOs 1"

I end up with a datastore called "ISO_NFS_NetApp" with 9x hosts connected and then another "ISO_NFS_NetApp (1)" with 3 connected.

Tried to mount via the GUI as well and getting the same issues

Anyone got any ideas?  I'm hoping to start using NFS for Tier 2 VM's at some point but this is a bit of a worry.

Hello.

Note: Discussion successfully moved from VMware ESX™ 4 to VMware vSphere™ Storage

Do all hosts resolve that DNS name to the same IP address?

Good Luck!
