Storage vMotion plugin not compatiable with VC4.1 - Replacement??

As some or most of you would be aware, the Storage vMotion plugin that many of us use no-longer works with vCenter 4.1. Does anyone know of a replacement plugin that works with VC 4.1? I use this plugin pretty relgiously so its annoying having it disabled.

You will not need the plugin in version 4. It is built into the software itself.

Just like how you VMotion a server (right click and migrate), instead of select different host - you will have an option to choose different datastoer. That's storage vmotion 😃

The Migrate datastore option is no-where near as granualar as the SVM Plugin. You cant move indiviual VMDk's to different datastores, its all or nothing. Unless im missing something?

Yes you can. Once you go for "select migration type", then under select datastore please choose advance.

You can choose where the VMX, and each of the VMDK to reside to.

As written as the same granularity.

And also can convert disk format between thin/thick (but in this case without granularity... all disks or none).
