Storage Issue

I am able to see my LUN under "Storage Adapters", but when I click on "Add Storage" under the storage link, it shows nothing. What would cause this?

We had this problem with our IBM x3650's and the only way to get the storage LUNs to show up was to reboot. You may try logging directly into the ESX Host in question and try doing a rescan.

After the initial reboot anything presented after that was easily rescanned and found.

I found the solution, even though I don't understand it. I had to connect to the ESX host via the vSphere client and add the storage that way. Then a rescan worked for the other hosts...
