I am in the process of testing RecoverPoint 4.0 replicated LUN in a recovery site. vCenter and vSphere hosts are 5.0 U3. When I mount a LUN from the latest RP snap at the recovery site, I can add VMs to inventory and power on the VMs as expected. If I shutdown the VMs, add a new more recent snapshot, any of the VMs that I powered up on the previous replicated LUN cannot be added to inventory (it is grayed out) and the VMX file icon is no longer a VMware icon, just a default icon.
Has anyone else seen this type of behavior before? It is especially weird because the more recent snaps shouldn't be tied to the previous snaps writes.
