Question about SVMotion

Hi all,

Here is my problem.

I got a VM which has 2 HDD (one which is on a SCSI VMFS and the other is on a SATA VMFS). So VMDKs of these HDDs are on different VMFS volumes.

My problem is that when I do a SVMotion my 2 VMDKs are on the same VMFS volumes.

Is there any possibility to keep the original configuration of my VM after the SVMotion without turning off the VM ?

I know a possible solution, I power off the VM, then I copy vmdk to another location but it's not what I'm looking for.

Thanks in advance

when you in the screen to select the target datastore, there is something like advance which allows you to assign different datastore for each of the VMDKs attached to the virtual machine.
