Hi to all,
I've installed the last esx 4.0 server and I've try to link to an existing storage, EMC Clariion AX150 , both connect directly with two Fibre Channel.
From the AX 150 I see the wwn hba of ESX 4.0. I've created a virtual pool in raid 5 and I've assigned it to esx server (like see below) .
From ESX I see like show in the image1.bmp
Informations of both devices:

From ESX I can see WWN name of FC but I cannot explore them/modify path or link new AX150 virtual disk like "Storage Adapter".
Anyone have suggests?
Thanks
you should be able to just do a rescan and the assigned lun's will show up in ESX. you do not have to do any configuration on the ESX side until a rescan of the HBA's shows the lun's, at which point you goto storage and use the add button to create your vmfs volume.
You may want to check the flare and FC firmware levels to ensure you are running a supported configuration.
