Problem of creating a datastore using iSCSi on ESXi 3.5

Hi, we have an iomega StorCenter ix4-200d as our NAS and an ESXi 3.5. The problem is i made an isci disk on NAS and security is enabled, when i add a disk/lun to the esxi as datastore and entered all the credentials(CHAP security) it doesnt appear, but the previous disk that I made without security enable it shows up when i create a disk/lun to the esxi..any ideas why?

Hi devilme6666,

Welcome to the forum.

You can find interesting information about troubleshooting iSCSI connectivity here .

Hope it helps

Also I would check the password length, the Iomega manual states the password must be between 12-16 characters

Regards,

Scott

I hope this helps

Thanks Frankrookie for the link

To ScottBentley: yeah i already done that..but no hope

my main concern is when my iscsi lun is security enabled, i cant add it to VI Client but if the security is disable i can automatically add it.

I already change CHAP names and secrets but still it doesnt work.
