Only one host in cluster added LUN

Hello,

As part of a datacenter migration we are using EMC SANcopy to copy LUNS from Site A to Site B. It appears to go well and when the LUN gets to Site B it is presented to the cluster and host1 adds it, keeps the signature and can see the virtual machines on the datastore. It does not add onto the other 5 hosts in the cluster, however when you go to add storage on them they can see the LUN. Though if you try to add them you only have the option to format, not to keep signature.

Does anyone have ideas of a way round this?

Go to vcenter server settings>advanced settings and look for config.vpxd.filter.hostRescanFilter and see if it is set to true. This disables automatic rescans when adding storage. When i have a lot fo luns to add I use this, add to one host, then perform a manual rescan. Maybe someone turned this on for the new environment.

If you right click the cluster and click "rescan for datastores" do they now appear on your other hosts?
