Monitoring and Alerting for VMFS

I'm fairly new to VMWare ESX....

Is there any monitoring/alerting program that can monitor the drive ARRAYS and let you know if there is a drive that has gone or going out? We are using VShpere 4 and the health status does not contain any information about hard drives or arrays. I'm worrried that one of my arrays could fail and I would never know it until it was too late.

If its an HP box you can use HP offline bundle for installing CIM providers. It will help you in seeing disk status in Health status tab.
