Migrate from storage vendor

Hi,

My situation:

A

1. I have a current infrastructure with storage vendor A

2. Running VM's on storage vendor A

3. Separate storage network

4. Separte windows network

5. vCenter

B.

1. New storage vendor B

2. New Windows infrastructure (total new domain

3. Separate storagenetwork

4. Separte Windows Network

5. vCenter

Now what i want to realize is that the current VM's running on storage vendor A get moved to new storage vendor. So basically i want the whole infrastructure to be moved to new storage so i can put storage VENDOR a offline and and have the old en new infrastructure on storage vendor B.

Now i was thinking to put the current ESX host with 2 NIC's in the storage network of Storagevendor B, present the luns and migrate it offline. So put VM offline and move VMDK files.

What is the best way to proceed?

Without storage vmotion that would be the best way to migrate the VMs from storage  vendor A to storage vendor B - cold migrate the VMs

Thanks for the reply. Now let's assume that the customer is using alot of MPIO from guest OS with storage vendor A. What's the the best route? I mean i could add a VMDK to the VM and robocopy everything over en migrate it to storage vendor B but are there any othe r ways?
