MSA 2000fc vSphere and round robin

I have a number of MSA 2212fc G1 and MSA 2312fc G2 storage arrays conected to 4 hosts I'm planning to upgrade from ESXi 3.5 to vsphere 4.0. They all have dual controllers and are running as active/active using fixed path. The licenses have been upgraded as part of support agreement and therefore will be Enterprise licenses (as opposed to enterprise plus)

Can I use round robin on vsphere 4 with this setup to provide better load balancing across the 2 SAN fabrics? Has anyone else used round robin with this type of storage? I'm slightly concerned doing this with the MSA212fc G1's as they don't do true active/active.

Hi,

The VMware Compatibilty Guide indicates the path policy should be fixed so unless HP directs you to do otherwise it would not be supported.

I'm wondering this too.

I'm using MRU right now, can I change to RR on the fly?

Did you change over to RR? What version of the MSA are you using?
