Loosing SAN connection after reboot

Hi guys, hoping someone know what going on with this weird issue. I have DL 380 g6 hosts connected to Hitachi USP VM SAN. Whenever I reboot the host, sometimes only one of the 2 HBAs see the SAN/LUNS, sometime neither. I always have to ask our SAN engineer to do a "reset" on his end to make my vsphere hosts see the SAN.

Does any have any idea what it could be? Sometimes a reboot solves the problem. It's as if the HBAs are not always login into the SAN. But why would this be happening intermitently?

could you please post your vmkernel messages /var/log/vmkernel and cat /proc/scsi/lpfc820/* or cat /proc/scsi/qla2xxx/*? thanks
